Halibut Cove Adventures is a full-service guided adventure outfitter.
Located in Halibut Cove, Alaska, we offer daily guided services throughout Kachemak Bay originating from Homer or Halibut Cove. We safely and responsibly help our guests experience the Alaskan wilderness as well as the natural history and ecology of Kachemak Bay.

Whether you are a first time paddler or an experienced adventurer looking to explore the far reaches of Kachemak Bay, we offer various routes and means to explore and experience the beauty and wonder of Alaska.

Certifications, Insurance & Your Safety

Your safety is important to us and that is why all trips, whether by land or sea, begin with safety instructions. Having an understanding of what to do in the event of an unlikely situation builds confidence and makes for a better overall excursion.

Halibut Cove Adventures makes safety the number one priority. At a minimum, all guides are certified in first aid and CPR. Halibut Cove Adventures trains all adventure guides for emergency response situations.

Owner & Guide George Reising is an ACA certified Costal Kayaking Trip Leader, NOLS/WMI Wilderness First Responder.

Halibut Cove Adventures is a Kachemak Bay State Park commercial operator, which requires permitting and liability insurance.
